emPowering Deacons: Community Transformation

Community Transformation happens as Kingdom people address the needs of the community and lead it to reflect the principles of the Kingdom of God in its social, economic, and political aspects - it can be called Community Discipling.

The primary leadership in the urban poor church effecting this, are the deacons, charged with the responsibility for caring for the needy and economic development of the people in the church and in the community.

This module will introduce the basic ideas to be more fully developed in TUL500 Writings , Reign and Reality, TUL630 Community Transformation, and TUL 655 Advocacy and Land Rights.
